has worked with such greats as Vassar Clements, Buck Owens, David Frizzell, and Larry Bastian, songwriter of "Rodeo" and "Unanswered Prayers" sung by Garth Brooks.
In 2000 Gwen traveled to Nashville to sing on a Grateful Dead
tribute album called "Dead Grass" (hear sound clip). There she worked with the late, great, Vassar Clements,
Godfather of the Fiddle in country music, Butch Baldarsari, mandolin
player for the Nashville String Ensemble, and Jeff White, backup
singer for Vince Gill. They dubbed Gwen as "little miss one take" because of her
ability to record lead and backup vocals in one take. The album did well and received
fantastic reviews from the Grateful Dead themselves.
As a a solo artist, Gwendolyn Daniels' dynamic voice creates such energy and
gives a unique musical experience to everyone in the audience.

Gwendolyn is currently
working on her own album of original material. When asked about her music, she
said, "Writing is a very personal experience. I want to give of myself
so that the listeners can really see what I am about." The CD will consist
of a wide variety of styles, complimented with Gwen's trademark vocals and her
great musicianship. This CD will be worth waiting for as there will be a variety
of songs for all musical tastes.
